YSD Excellence Scholarship Programmes

YSD supports well-rounded students with outstanding academic achievements, active involvement in extracurricular activities and participation in community service.

This scholarship applies to those who wish to pursue full-time studies at Pre-University and Undergraduate levels in prominent universities locally and overseas.

Pre-University Scholarship Programme (China) – Leading To Undergraduate Studies At Top Universities In China

• Obtained at least 7 A’s (A+ and A only) for SPM 2017 Examination;
• Total monthly gross household income of RM10,000 and below; 
• Interested to pursue foundation studies at Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU) in China.

Pre-University Scholarship Programme (Local) – Leading to Undergraduate studies at top universities in United Kingdom

• Obtained at least (7) seven A’s (A+ and A only) for SPM 2017 Examination; 
• Total monthly gross household income of RM10,000 and below; 
• Interested to pursue foundation studies locally followed by undergraduate studies in United Kingdom.

Yayasan Sime Darby Undergraduate Scholarship Programme (Indonesia)

• Students who have completed STPM/Diploma (minimum CGPA of at least 3.30); 
• Total monthly gross household income of RM10,000 and below;
• Interested candidates who are in their first year (semester 1 & semester 2) at top local universities are encouraged to apply.

Yayasan Sime Darby Undergraduate Scholarship Programme (Local)

• Students who have completed STPM/Pre-University/Foundation/Local Matriculation/Diploma (minimum CGPA of at least 3.30); or 3A's for A-Level Programme;
• Total monthly gross household income of RM10,000 and below;
• Interested candidates who are in their first year (semester 1 & semester 2) at top local universities are encouraged to apply.
